Synopsis: to provide for the equal protection of all unborn human beings in Maryland.
******************** TELABORTION FUNDING (AGAINST)
Bill Number: SB0567
Hearing: Wed. Feb 17th at 1:00 pm.
Synopsis: Though this bill wasn’t written specifically for abortion, the Maryland Medical Assistance Program is the main source of Medicaid reimbursements for abortions around $6 million a year. MRTL opposes all “health” funding bills supported by Pro-Abortion NARAL. Abortion is included in the definition of healthcare. Unless a health related bill specifically excludes abortion it will be included by definition. Because Maryland does not have a Hyde style amendment, all funding bills will include abortion funding within the definition of “healthcare.”
The MDGOP by Resolution passed unanimously in 2019 opposes Abortion Funding.

Repealing the prohibition on the sale, distribution, and disposal of certain drugs, medicines, pharmaceutical preparations, and medical preparations by means of a vending machine or similar device.
Legislation that proposes to administer death drugs to murder the preborn (Abortion) and the post-born (Assisted Suicide) by “dispensing” of them by any means, much less via a vending machine is completely contrary to our RNC platform.
