- With big elections coming up on Nov. 2, Frederick City Aldermen candidates Robert Fischer and Michelle Shay are working with regional clubs and organizations from Frederick, Washington County and West Virginia to conduct door knocking events on October 23 and 30 starting at 9:30. If interested in volunteering, please reach out to info@frederickgopclub.org. We need your help to start a red wave in Maryland and end one party rule in Frederick City.

For a struggling and neglected town at the bottom of Eastern Shore, far from Maryland’s population centers, it was a welcome moment in the spotlight, and an opportunity for candidates to pitch their policy prescriptions to local voters.
“This event is really important for Crisfield and for Somerset County,” said state Sen. Mary Beth Carozza (R-Lower Shore), who represents the area.

“Three casinos will continue to wait for a state panel to award sports betting licenses. The Thursday meeting of the Sports Wagering Application Review Commission was abruptly postponed. An official reason was not immediately available, but one member said the delay is related to concerns about racial equity.”
