OPPOSE NEW TAX INCREASES

Dear Members of The Maryland General Assembly,

HB 1628 proposes the largest tax increase in Maryland’s history, with a 5 percent tax increase on everyday services such as salon charges, mechanic, real estate, veterinarian, and mortuary services, tax and will preparation, plumbing and handyman work, grocery delivery, and a slew of others.

Hardworking Maryland families cannot take any more crushing tax increases on top of the already high costs of living in this state.

We urge you to oppose increasing taxes on Maryland’s working families this legislative session!
