About the Maryland Republican Party

The Maryland Republican Party (MDGOP) is the state affiliate of the National Republican Party in Maryland. The MDGOP is dedicated to upholding the principles of the Republican Party, which include limited government, individual liberty, fiscal responsibility, and free markets. Its mission is to recruit and support Republican candidates for office at all levels, from local to federal, and to advocate for policy positions in line with these principles.

Meet MDGOP Chairman

Nicole Beus Harris

Nicole Beus Harris is serving her first term as Chairwoman of the Maryland Republican Party. She is a marketing and political consultant and also the wife of Maryland\’s lone Republican Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. Nicole is also the Vice-Chair of the Republican Women\’s Federal Forum a 50-year-old organization started by wives of Senators, Congressmen, and a few First Ladies. She lives in Cambridge, Maryland with her husband, Andy. She has a son, David five bonus children from Andy, and 10 bonus grandchildren with the eleventh expected in 2023. Nicole’s past GOP experience includes being a member of many Maryland Federation of Republican Women clubs, working as the MDGOP Precinct Captain Coordinator in 2016, and consulting/managing dozens of winning Republican campaigns since 2011.
