Maryland Republican Party Elects New Leadership

The Maryland Republican Party held its Annual Fall Convention at Maryland LIVE! The primary goal of this fall’s convention was to elect a new Board for the party. The election was not without controversy as there were calls for change from a large percentage of the new Republican Central Committee members, many of whom were elected in July and just took office in November. By the end of the convention, the MDGOP had new leadership-elect members:

Chair-Elect: Nicole Beus Harris
1st Vice-Chair continues to be Nicole Bennett
2nd Vice-Chair-Elect: Heath Barnes
3rd Vice-Chair-Elect: Dwight Patel
Secretary continues to be Mark Uncapher
Treasurer: to be appointed
